Coffee not only gives a new life to humans, it stimulates male sperm, as well.

Dr. Fabio Pasqualotto, a Brazilian urologist, discovered during a study that men who drink at least one cup of coffee a day present greater movement of their sperm.
The sperm have more energy and are faster, which increases the chances of getting up the duff (scientific term there).

“The caffeine can increase the use of energy of the sperm, as if it were a stimulant. It is as if the spermatozoon took an energetic,” Pasqualotto explained.

(Absolutely using the term Spermatozoon in conversation from now on btw)

In his tests, the semen of 750 fertile men with active sexual (not sure any of the men would have admitted to an inactive sex life) lives was tested.

The coffee didn’t have an effect on the number of sperm.

“The only alteration observed was in its quality of movement, independently of the amount of coffee ingested daily,” the urologist said.

67% of the coffee drinkers sperm had the mobility to arrive at the ovule, whilst of the men who didn’t drink coffee, only 54% had that mobility.

Testing is ongoing for men with fertility problems, but it tastes like sex (not literally) anyway so may as well stock up.
